(FEATURED PROJECTS)

FRANCON EDITIONS

Head of Design
( 2020 - 2022 )

Francon represents a modern, iterative approach to dressing, inspired by functional archetypes in timeless architecture.

Founded in 2020 by May Kaan and Architect Kees Kaan. Rather than
thinking in seasons, Francon is based on the notion of changing settings.
Being in a metropolitan city feels different from being in the countryside.
When standing in a skyscraper in New York City, we behave differently
than we would in a Florentine palazzo. These nuances in perception and
behaviour are the key themes in our design explorations.

THE ROW

Design Traineeship
( 2013 - 2014 )

The Row’s collections explore the strength of simplistic shapes that speak to discretion and are based on uncompromising quality.

The Row was established in 2006 by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen.
Focusing on exceptional fabrics, impeccable details, and precise tailoring,
the house combines a timeless perspective with subtle attitudes which
form an irreverent classic signature. During my time at The Row I worked
in the Woven-Team under the Creative Direction of Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski.

FIRA RIETVELD

Ceramics Designer
( 2020 - present )

Ceramics as a way to
creatively unwind & recharge.

I took my first ceramics course in early 2020 and have found it to be a
valuable creative outlet. Despite, or perhaps because, having little prior knowledge
of the medium, I have found it to be freeing to work with clay. My ceramics have
been featured in various publications such as Vogue, Residence Magazine, during
Amsterdam Fashion Week 2021 and at 10 Corso Como during Milan Design Week 2023.

Selection of my ceramics is sold at: RAEAmsterdam.

AI DESIGN

Designer
( 2023 )

Ai as an approach to initial stages
of design, inspired by glitches.

By drawing inspiration from glitches and unexpected results in the AI's output,
I  explore new and innovative design ideas that may not have been possible otherwise.
I'm excited to continue exploring this approach in my work.

GAUGE81

Head of Design
( 2018 - 2020 )

GAUGE81 (pronounced GO-SH eighty-one) blurs the line between evening and casual wear.

Founded in 2019 by Colombian knitwear designer, Monica Silva, the brand’s
behind-the-scenes team includes Vogue Netherlands editor-at-large Gijsje
Ribbens and Dutch designer Fira Rietveld, who previously worked at The Row
and Calvin Klein. The trio’s collective expertise resulted in a series of minimalist
essentials—think the pared-down wardrobes of ’90s stars like Gwyneth Paltrow
and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy—offered at an accessible price point.

HILL HOUSE

Shoe Designer, Product Manager
( 2021 - 2022 )

Hill House designs products that bring
beauty and joy to everyday rituals.

Nell Diamond founded Hill House Home  in 2016 with a dream to make happy
things for happy places. As the Founder and CEO, Nell’s unique design aesthetic
and customer-centric approach has helped build a fiercely loyal and engaged
Hill House Home community. Together with the Hill House Team based in New
York and a talented Team in Napoli, Italy I designed and launch their first shoes.

TRADEMARK

Associate Designer
( 2014 - 2016 )

Inspired by classic Americana
and nostalgic silhouettes.

In 2014, Pookie Burch and her sister Louisa - step-daughters of Tory Burch -
launched Trademark, a ready-to-wear line that caught the attention of fashion
insiders with its quirky, streamlined aesthetic. The same year, Trademark
opened its first store on Grand Street in Soho, New York.

INABO

Design Consultant, Designer
( 2019, 2022)

Inabo is a Swedish slipper company known for promoting the tradition of taking off your shoes when entering a home.

Inabo is a slipper company founded by Ludvig Lindberg, a drop-out lawyer,
and Sofia Jansson, a pro-napper, in 2018. Their goal is to encourage people
to take time for themselves, to relax at home, and to prioritize personal time
over screen time.
