THE ROW | PRE-FALL 2014
design trainee
During this season at The Row I was involved in Research and Embroidery:
• I was independently researching and developing the embroidery artwork and techniques, with guidance from the team.
• The Pre-fall 2014 Embroidery design was inspired by Japanese Sashiko Embroidery techniques.
• The starting point was the materials used: cotton and mohair thread.
• I worked losely with Finesse Embroideries New York during the development and production.
• Controling the embroidery placement due to the grading of the pattern and quality control at the hand-over to production.
• Conceptual and Styling research: Garderner, famous gardeners, The Gardens of the World.
•On set assistance during the style-out and Pre-Fall 2014 Lookbook shoot.
